Hello world!

That has to be the most cliche opening to a blog... Oh well. I am going to be using this blog to post updates about our family. I am mostly doing this because I really want to keep everyone up to date with the baby happenings.

I am really looking forward to the due date. I can wait though, because I feel like there are still a few things that we need to get in order first. I have heard that you will never feel prepared until the day the baby is actually born. So far, I can attest to that. I am also being patient, because I think that the closer the baby is born to the due date, the less time that has to be spent in the hospital.

Holly is a real trooper. The first 3 months had to be one of the worst things that she has ever been through. She was so sick the whole time, but maintained a great attitude because she was able to see the big picture. The second trimester was a breeze (like most people told us it would be.) Now, the final approach is starting to give flashbacks of the first trimester. Not in the nausea way, but just being uncomfortable.

Anyway, that is just a quick update to catch everyone up. I will post pics, and video as I become consistent with this blog and figure out if I really want to maintain it. I have to admit, I wasn't sure why people blogged before but it really does feel liberating.
